For small projects, we require the full amount to be paid upfront before we begin working. For larger projects, we prefer our terms to have at least 50% of the negotiated price up front prior to starting the development. The rest of the payment in full once the development is complete.   Software Development

Custom application development is meant for designing software that has been designed and programmed for a specific function. While all software developed using Custom application development is technically custom, the difference is that packaged applications were designed with a general set of features to be used by a broad range of users. Custom application development is capable of producing practically any feature you may desire for your organization. Time and money are virtually the only limiting factors.

How does the process work?

  • We start with a meeting to get an understanding of your organization and how it runs as well as to determine your software needs and how it will fit into your organization.
  • At that point we gather requirements for the software development team to use.
  • We review the requirements with you so you will have an understanding of what will be built and if anything was missed.
  • During the development cycle we will present the product to you in stages so you have a good understanding as to how the application will look and function.
  • Once development is complete a full system test is performed and then the application is handed off to you for user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • During UAT you can determine whether the application meets or exceeds your desired expectations.
  • Lastly is the deployment of your new application on your system or network.

Just a Few Examples of our Work:

  • Mailing List Creation
  • Customer Account Database System
  • Customized Accounting System
  • Software Deployment Utilities
  • Special Education Programs

  eBay Trading Assistance

Have something you want to sell but you don’t understand how this whole eBay thing works? Maybe you want to sell something but you don’t want to be bothered with the hassles of taking pictures, answering questions, figuring out shipping costs, etc? Let us sell the item for you! Unlike many eBay Trading Assistants that will charge you 30% or more of the sale price of your item. eSet Solutions will only charge, at the most, 25% of the final sale price.

What we do:

  • Either drop off your item or we will come by and pick it up.
  • We photograph your item.
  • List your item using our custom eBay template.
  • Answer all questions about your item from potential buyers.
  • When the auction closes we will collect the money from the buyer.
  • Package your item up for shipping.
  • Ship your item out to the buyer.
  • Provide feedback to the buyer.
  • And lastly we send you a check!
How long do you list an item for?
Typically, we use a seven day auction to maximize bidding interest. We are, however, able to do auctions as short as 1 day for items with time constraints (i.e. tickets for sporting events, concerts etc.)

What if my item doesn't sell?
If your item doesn't sell, you will be notified via email and can arrange to have the item picked up.

When can I expect to receive my check?
Typically, you will receive a check approximately 30 - 45 days from the date you dropped off your item. Please note that winning bidders who delay in paying for your item will cause delays in our timing for sending out your check. In addition, occasionally a winning bidder may never pay for your item. In this case, we will cancel the original auction and relist your item for free. Your check amount and payment timing will be based on the results of this new auction.

How does eSet Solutions earn its commission?
Like any retailer, we make a commission on the items we sell. This fee is used to cover the costs of photographing, listing, payment collection, and customer service. Once the item sells, we deduct our commission, eBay fees and payment processing fees before sending you a check. Our commissions are based on a sliding scale of 20% for items that sell between $.01 and $250 and 16% for items that sell for more than $250.

For large items that will be sold as Local Pick-up we charge 35% for our commissions and we do not accept items with a value of less than $100 for this service. The reason it is so high is that we have additional responsibilities with regards to promoting your item. We have proven ways of promoting your item that most trading assistance don't have the knowledge or know-how to do. Our promotional work usually proves to provide almost top dollar for your item. Also, we have take possession of the item and store it and meet with the winning bidder to give the item to them.

  • eBay Fees
Listing/Gallery photo fee of $0.70 (assumes $9.99 starting bid) plus 5.25% of the first $25, 3.25% of the next $975, and 1.5% of any amount over $1,000.

  • Payment Processing Fees
  • $.30 plus 2.5% of the final selling price.

Are there any additional fees you charge?
Yes, if the item is received dirty we will charge a $1.00 cleaning fee. Not only do we keep you, our client, in mind but we also have an obligation to our bidders. We feel it is only fair that we sell them a quality, clean item with every auction.

Why do you charge so little, compared to other trading assistants? Doesn't this say something about your quality?
We believe quality isn’t measured in cost but in the work we do. We also don’t have large costs to pay out for space to rent and employees so we can price our work more accordingly and pass those savings onto you. Also, we find that our results generate, at times, 30% more revenue than other auctions selling the same item.
